Janet launches world tour

Janet Jackson kicked off her Number Ones world tour in the Philippines last night, making it her first live performance in three years.

And from the clips that have since popped up YouTube, it appears that time hasn’t wearied Ms Jackson’s ability to squeeze herself into a skin-tight latex bodysuit and dance like a demon.

The 45-date tour, which starts in Asia before hitting North America for series of shows in March and then winding up in Europe, showcases all the 44-year-old pop star’s biggest hits from the ’80s and ’90s, as well as some of her more recent releases.

Unfortunately, the show does not appear destined for Australia, so checking out the action online is problem the closest you’re going to get to Janet until the obligatory DVD hits stores.

This is a worldwide tour so Australia will be included. Mist likely Sydney.
    Stay tuned :-)

  2. The tour is hitting Australia. The merchandise sold at the Manilla show has Sydney listed as one of the cities :)
