Josh Thomas hit on buses
Australia’s awkward gay comedian Josh Thomas is having his mug plastered on buses in major US cities to promote his show Please Like Me. After Season One piloted on the ABC, American TV channel Pivot have commissioned and is co-producing a second season of the comedy series.
“Josh is a true star in the making,” said Pivot President Evan Shapiro. “Everyone who sees Please Like Me falls in love with Josh and this series because it’s a hysterical, authentic snapshot of a quarter-life crisis in the 21st century.”
Tweeting about his face on the bus, Thomas said: “You get on the bus via my face”.
Australia seems to be tickling the US funny bone, as we saw Australian comedian Rebel Wilson start working on her own TV series on US network ABC called Super Fun Night in May.
