Music producer slams gay marriage

High profile record producer Polow Da Don has slammed New York’s historic decision to allow gay marriage on Twitter over the weekend.

The man behind gay-friendly songs like Fergie’s Glamorous, Pussycat Dolls’ Buttons and Christina Aguilera’s Not Myself Tonight expressed his outrage at the news, calling it “scaryshit”.

“JUDAS BEATS JESUS IN NY!!!!! SAME SEX MARRIAGE LAW PASSED…. SIGNS OF 2012…. #WOW #SCARYSHIT,” Polow tweeted his almost 50,000 followers (see below).

It would appear to be a bad career move on the producer’s part.

He hasn’t produced a major international hit since Usher’s Love In This Club in 2008 and it’s doubtful that the big names will be knocking down his door to work with him after alienating an integral part of their audience.

Will you be avoiding Polow Da Don’s records in the future?
