Rosie O’Donnell suffers heart attack

Rosie O’Donnell has suffered a heart attack, she revealed on her blog yesterday.

O’Donnell said it happened after she helped a heavy woman out of her car last week.

“A few hours later my body hurt i had an ache in my chest, both my arms were sore, everything felt bruised,” she wrote.

O’Donnell took aspirin but did not call 911 and expressed regret for not doing so in her post.

“My LAD [Left Anterior Descending Artery] was 99 percent blocked – they call this type of heart attack the ‘Widow maker’, i am lucky to be here,” she said.

A representative for O’Donnell told People magazine she was now at home and resting comfortable.

“She is very, very lucky,” the rep said.
