Xtina arrested
It’s been a tough year for Christina Aguilera – she released a flop album, starred in a universally panned movie and made international headlines after forgetting the words to the American national anthem during a Super Bowl performance.
On top of all of that she spent last night sobering up in a prison cell after being arrested for public intoxication.
The diva’s arrest occurred when her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was pulled over by police for erratic driving and charged with a DUI.
Although she was only a passenger in the car, poor Xtina was judged to be “extremely intoxicated” and unable to look after herself.
As a result, the 30-year-old has now joined Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan as a Hollywood jailbird.
An outcome that clearly shocked her Lady Marmalade duet partner P!nk, who left the following message on Twitter:
Do you think Christina has finally hit rock bottom or is there more indignity to come?
Christina has always been the slow and more extreme version of britney.
Britney did, I’m a slave 4 U in 2001, and then in 2003 Christina went crazy and did Dirty! And literally…was dirty.
So Britneys meltdown saw her kids get taken away, going to a mental assylum, some crazy boyfriends, and a trip to rehab.
She topped Britneys MTV Gimmie more performance with her rendition of the national anthem at the super bowl.
I expect to see a major trainwreck happening for christina….This is only the beginning.
