Dolly’s 9-5

Dolly’s 9-5

Hello campers!

Well I hope you’re all keeping well and misbehaving safely, I know I am. The amount of people who keep asking me how my gym training and weight loss is going, what with summer practically at our backdoor. Only last weekend someone came up to me and said you’re doing really well, keep your chins up. They should have no trouble gaining weight as they enjoy their Christmas dinner through a straw. Seriously though, please let me know if you have a special event planned for World AIDS Day and I’ll try to give it a mention.

Scarlet Teez Party

Brisbane

Saturday, November 24

C’mon girls, do you believe in love? Well I’ve got something to say about it and it involves you and your sexy, funny and wet tee shirts – yes, you read that right. Scarlet is having their last party for the year and they want you in your tee shirts for the “All the teez” event. Now I realise you might normally expect to find a wet tee shirt competition at Schoolies – well you’ve not seen a wet tee shirt competition until you’ve been to Scarlet.

So Scarlet ladies, c’mon all you lovely lesbian and beautiful bisexual goddesses, head on down to St Paul’s for one fabulous night of fun. $15 presale/$20 at the door.

Disco on the Green

Sydney

Sunday, November 25

The one and only Sandy Bottom has been wowing audiences for the last 25 years and shows no sign of slowing down. She’s brought more stardust and sequins to Sydney’s Inner West than anyone else I know. Well, you guessed it, she’s at it again and putting on a fundraiser at the Canterbury Bowling Club. The line-up for Disco on the Green is top notch with DJ’s Justin Scott, Ophelia Shaft and Disco Crisco.

There’s special guest DD Bolt and shows starring Sandy and Miss Koko D’vine, Beverly Buttercup, Randy Dicksin and Nikki Facchion. All the money raised goes to the LGBTI community.

World AIDS Day

Melbourne

Saturday, December 1

The Victorian AIDS Council continues to do great work for the community and they have a busy day planned this World AIDS Day. The Positive Living Centre will host a memorial service, “We Remember, We Celebrate” which is open to everyone and really is a very special and emotional day of remembrance. Once again the Gay and Lesbian Chorus will perform alongside the marvellous Jon Jackson and MC Luke Gallagher.

You can also do your bit by hosting a Red Dinner party for your friends. Go to the website for all the details including how you can download a free recipe book.  I guess it goes without saying that I would like you to buy a red ribbon wherever you are.
