Dolly’s 9-5

Dolly’s 9-5

Hello everyone,

Week two and things are going really well so far, well I’m still in the job.

The encouragement emails have been arriving with gusto – my box is filling up nicely.

Hopefully now with spring in the air you’re all feeling like venturing out of hibernation. It’ll be hotpants and short skirts weather before you know it.

Well with legs like mine you’ve got to show them off at every opportunity. Booking in for a waxing as we speak.

Here are some ideas for the adventurous ones amongst you.

P.S. I must remember not to write my column after a big night out on the vodka. Every computer key I touch feels like an earthquake in my head. Bloody great night at the Laird Hotel and Sircuit though. Thank you, Melbourne.

Art Gallery Glide and Graze
September 23 – 1pm

If you like your Sunday afternoons with a bit of culture then this might be right up your alley.

The Art Gallery Glide and Graze is giving you the chance to get up close and personal with the artist and their work as they take you from one gallery to the next. It all kicks off at the oldest gallery in town, Maunsell Wickes, and then onto Wagner art gallery, MICK The Gallery and finishes at Martin Browne Contemporary. It includes a fabulous lunch and champagne along the way. Tickets for a full afternoon of food, drinks, artwork and much more are only $79. The event runs for approximately four hours. Is there a better way to enjoy art?

Mr Pride 2012 Finals
Brisbane Pride

Mr Pride is a talent and popularity contest for men as part of the 2012 Brisbane Pride Festival. It features some very lovely men strutting their stuff for your viewing pleasure. The final takes place on Pride Fair Day, this Sunday September 16.

The winner takes home a fabulous holiday to Bali thanks to Manhunt and also gets to call themselves Mr Gay Oz Queensland. It also offers them a chance to tell us how much they love children and working for charity… actually that might be Miss World.
