Having flirted with the dancefloor with her indie rock band The Gossip, Beth Ditto now emerges as a dance diva with this, her debut EP.
Enlisting uber-credible tech house outfit Simian Mobile Disco for production duties was a wise move — the four songs here shimmer with the sort of early ’90s dance sounds currently so in vogue among everyone from Hercules and Love Affair to Lady Gaga.
