Minnesota became the 12th US state to legalise marriage for same-sex couples this week and boy did they celebrate.

Governor Mark Dayton signed the marriage equality bill into law on Tuesday after the state Senate passed it on Monday.

The City of Minneapolis lit up the I-35W bridge with rainbow lights on Tuesday night to mark the occasion.

“The I-35W bridge will be lit like this tonight in recognition of marriage equality in Minnesota,” the City of Minneapolis government posted on its Facebook page.

We think it’s pretty impressive, how about you?
