Join BGF for the City2Surf
With less than a month to the race, interested community members are invited to join Team BGF for the 2010 City2Surf.
This year’s iconic City 2 Surf foot race will begin at the intersection of Park and College streets behind Hyde Park at 9am on August 8 and end at Bondi Beach, taking in the suburbs of Darlinghurst, Kings Cross, Rose Bay and Dover Heights along the way.
The Bobby Goldsmith Foundation aims to have 75 runners or walkers this year.
Each participating runner or walker will be given a red BGF team T-shirt and wrist band, and will receive regular training and fundraising tips from the Foundation.
To join Team BGF participants are asked to register for the race through the official 2010 City2Surf website and select the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation as their nominated charity.
Fundraising website Everyday Hero will then set up an online fundraising page for each team member so that they can ask family, friends and work colleagues to sponsor them.
