JOY claims national award
JOY 94.9 FM has won a national broadcasting award for its explosive live program into gay youth suicide in May.
It won the 2012 Most Innovative Outside Broadcast or Special Event Broadcast Award from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia.
The two-hour joint program with 3AW was broadcast live from City Square and heard from mental health experts, politicians and families of young people who had committed suicide.
