Lunchbox postponed
Big Gay Weekend event Lunchbox, at Luna Park, has been postponed.
A message went up on the event’s official website today stating that for reasons beyond organisers’ control, it would now instead be held on Sunday, March 4 2012.
“With all our plans well underway and so much excitement and anticipation around Lunchbox, we are terribly sorry to disappoint you,” the statement read.
“While delayed gratification is not our preferred modus operandi, come Sunday 4 March Lunchbox Luna Park will be on, it will be cramazing, and we’re looking forward to joining you there.”
The day party was due to be held on Sunday, October 2.
Tickets for the rescheduled Lunchbox will now go on sale on December 6 through the site’s online store and ticketing partner Soleil Tanning.
Existing Lunchbox tickets will remain valid for entry on Sunday, March 4 with no further action required on the part of ticketholders. They’re simply instructed to retain their ticket and bring it on the day.
