Seminars to motivate you
Professional development seminars have the ability to motivate, inspire and refresh.
Recently, Star City Casino hosted the Leaders with a Life conference, presented by SGLBA corporate partners, the Proteus Leadership Centres. The inspiring speakers entertained, educated, and shared some of the lessons they have learnt along the way to success.
Presenters included Li Cunxin (Mao’s Last Dancer), emotional intelligence guru Martyn Newman, funnyman and sales, marketing and service specialist John Lees, and inspiring corporate leader turned adventurer Heather Swan.
If you missed the Leader’s with a Life Conference, don’t fret. The good news is that Proteus Leadership Centres have teamed up with SGLBA to present the Long Table Professional Development Series.
The partnership brings you an affordable, educational and thought-provoking series of seminars that will equip you with an important range of skills and insights for you to enhance aspects of your personal and professional lives.
This not-to-be missed series starts with our first seminar on Saturday, October 16, with the topic ‘Understanding Behaviour’. You will learn to identify your own behaviour style, understand why you get on with some people and not with others, and how to manage relationships with difficult people.
Future seminar topics include, Taking Control: Work and Life (January 29 2011); Improving my communication (April 23); Managing the tough stuff (July 16).
The seminars will be held at the Masonic Centre, 66 Goulburn St, Sydney, 2pm-6pm.
For SGLBA members the cost is $59 per session or $100 for two sessions or $170 for all four sessions. Non-members pay $125 per session or $500 for the series. There are no other concessions. Price includes afternoon tea.
To make the most of our special SGLBA member discounts, be sure to join. You can save up to a staggering $330 by becoming a member of the SGLBA. It makes the $85 member subscription seem like a fantastic investment, don’t you think?
Plus you can attend Fruits in Suits and Lemons with a Twist events for free.
