The time to party is tonight!

Kick-off your long weekend tonight by helping bring Sydney Star Observer’s 30th anniversary celebrations to a close.

Our Sweaty Sexy and Over-the-Top party starts at 9pm at Arq tonight and features the Ravishing Rob Davis (pictured), Dirty’s Mandy Rollins, scene stalwart Kate Monroe, crowd-pleaser Sandi Hotrod, the gorgeous DJ Chip, Phoenix Rising’s Johan Khoury and perennial scene favourite Dan Murphy.

Marvellous Mini Cooper and the DIVA girls have put together a special birthday show for the night and our very own Scene Queen Maxi Shield will be the night’s hostess.

Oh, and there will be a special Star paparazzi photo booth so you can grab a memento of the night!

It’s going to be sweaty, sexy, over-the-top -— and we want you there. After all, you’re the reason we’re still going strong after 30 years.

Tickets ($20) are available from Bang Clothing, Sax Fetish or on the door, if not sold out.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can

LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.

When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.

Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
