Tropical Fruits’ NYE turns up the heat

Tickets for the now infamous Tropical Fruits New Year’s Festival are now on sale. This year’s calendar of events features a film festival, pool party, fireworks display, art exhibition, performance space and, of course, the popular New Year’s Eve party. Tropical Fruits spokesman Duncan Maurice said this year’s festival was all about glitz, glamour and pizzazz thanks to the Red Carpet theme.
“This year it’s glam, glam, glam – where everyone’s a VIP,” he said.
“Come to the tropics and revel among your flamboyant family who, year after year, deliver a dynamite party that surprises even the most seasoned celebrator.”
The New Year’s Eve party will kick off at 8pm and carry revellers through to 6am. From there it’s off to the Official After Party at the Winsome Hotel before heading to Splash, the very sexy pool party on 1 January that starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
And for those who have even more stamina, there’s Recovery at the Lismore Showground from 4pm to 1.30am featuring live music, DJs, a barbecue and plenty of fun.
“The Tropical Fruits team of fantastic friends is creating a gorgeous wonder ground for you and your funky family to frolic in,” Maurice said.
“Hundreds of queer campers will transform the site into a sensational city of satisfaction from 27 December. You have to see it to believe it.”
