Where does one find the “real” Wynter Gordon? Onstage at a sweaty venue in front of thousands of adoring fans? Holed up in the studio collaborating with artists like Mary J Blige, Steve Aoki, and J. Cole? Showcasing her natural beauty and striking fashion choices in the pages of glossy magazines like ELLE and Complex?

In 2012, the truth is you’ll find Wynter Gordon doing all this and more. “I’m a person sure of my talents and myself,” says Gordon, who penned the title track to Mary J Blige’s 2005 album ‘The Breakthrough’ at the age of 19. “I’m a free spirit. I’m a wild child hell bent on bringing the classic rhythms and melodies of the past into the new wave of music.”
