Not giving up on marriage

Equal Love protesters will hit the streets again on May 15, as part of their National Year of Action, to call for same-sex marriage rights. Although Opposition leader Tony Abbott confessed he would be “a disappointment” on gay marriage on the ABC’s QandA program recently, and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd maintains his opposition, grassroots activists are refusing to take ‘no’ for an answer. The protest will take place two days before the International Day Against Homophobia.
