If you can’t make it up to this year’s Sydney Mardi Gras, never fear — Melbourne LGBTI radio station JOY94.9 will broadcast live from the Parade this Saturday, March 3 so you won’t miss a beat of the glitz and glamour.

JOY will join Sydney broadcaster 2SER FM to air the event from 7–11pm. The broadcast will include interviews with Parade judges and community groups taking part.

All the sounds and sparkle of the Parade will also be heard across Australia on the Community Radio Network and streamed online or via the stations’ free apps.

Victoria has a modest representation marching in this year’s Parade with drag queens, drag kings and circus performers from The Peel Hotel set to don feathers and show their support for marriage equality in a banana-covered ute.
