Spanish stud takes out Mr Gay Europe

Spanish contestant Miguel Ortiz has taken out the Mr Gay Europe competition.

An early favourite, Ortiz was the clear crowd pick.

“Miguel’s win wasn’t all about his looks, he had to prove that he was an all around worthy winner of the title Mr Gay Europe 2012,” a competition official said on the Mr Gay Europe website.

Oritz shed a few tears when he was handed the sash and the crown. He is the seventh Mr Gay Europe.

The competition consisted of 11 different challenges, including an interview with the judges, a photo-session, swimwear competition, and a written test.

Malta and Italy took the second and third place spots.
