DJs announced for Bingham Cup closing party

ORGANISERS of the upcoming Bingham Cup in Sydney have just announced the DJ line-up for the tournament’s closing party night.

DJs Kitty Glitter (pictured above), Colin Gaff, Kate Monroe and Kam Shafaati will headline the event , which will be spread over two party spaces at the Ivy Nightclub on Sunday August 31.

“We’re really excited to have four of Australia’s most amazing DJs on board. Each has a passion for good music and creating a fun atmosphere,” Bingham Cup events manager Jonny Bastin said.

“We want the Bingham Cup closing party to be one that is remembered for a long time, so we’ve chosen DJs from different parts of the LGBTI community.”

In the courtyard drag DJ Kitty Glitter, a crowd favourite across Australia, including Sydney Mardi Gras, will be joined by bears favourite Colin Gaff, a resident of Sydney’s popular Honey parties.

Upstairs Kate Monroe, Australia’s first lady of house, takes the reigns in the den and is joined by Melbourne’s Kam Shafaati to create a sexy more intimate vibe.

The closing party marks the end of the Bingham Cup tournament, regarded as the gay rugby World Cup, and will attract 1000 rugby players and officials from around the globe.

Bastin said: “Expect great tunes, amazing lighting and the hottest rugby guys from around the world. This will be a fun and unforgettable end to a week of rugby.
