ESPN shows gay victory kiss

American cable sports network ESPN has reportedly made LGBT history during the festive season, showing an openly gay male pro athlete kissing his husband live on air.

Believed to be a first for the network, the 2012 PBA Chameleon Championship featured a kiss between bowler Scott Norton and his husband, Craig Woodward.

OutSports reports that ESPN commentators referred to Craig as Norton’s husband or spouse.

Norton, who revealed he was gay in May 2011, got married to Woodward in October 2011 in Laguna Beach, California.

Norton is a full-time attorney when he’s not bowling.
