Rangers celebrate with beach day
Members of the Sydney Rangers Football Club will hold their end-of-season BBQ and Christmas party on Saturday, December 10 at Bronte Beach.
Kicking off at noon, the BBQ is open to everyone — players from all teams, partners, supporters and friends. Food and drink details are still being finalised, but put the date in your diary now. An RSVP to the Rangers would help in letting them know how many people to expect.
The Rangers are Australia’s first gay football (soccer) club, with a number of six-a-side teams.
The club also runs a social football session from 4pm every Sunday at the Centennial Park Reservoir Fields. These sessions are open to anyone keen for a kick, no matter what the skill level. Anybody interested in joining any of the Sydney Rangers teams is encouraged to come and meet the guys.
