The AGLO is being held as a part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival that is celebrating its 35 year in 2013.
Held in the world-class facilities of the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre that is currently hosting the Sydney Apia International, the Open will run from February 15 to 17. The tournament is open to all grades; Open, A to D and Over 40s and will be conducted in accordance with the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Association (GLTA) rules and regulations.

“The AGLO is great not only for the serious players, but also for those who are coming back to the sport after a break or those who just want to try it out for the first time…The great thing about GLTA events is that they cater from beginners through to open level players.” Witthaus told the Star Observer.

Entry numbers are limited for all singles and doubles events and registrations close on January 23. Entry is $60 for the first event and $35 for the second.
