Time ripe for Fruits

Tropical Fruits New Year’s Eve party is fast approaching with this year’s theme, Tribe, calling all sections of the community to congregate in Lismore for the annual LGBTI event.

Three-party passes for the event are almost sold out, so organisers are advising getting in quickly.

DJs this year include LADY K, Buck Naked, Feisty, Sveta, Kam Shafaati, Dan Murphy, Sandi Hotrod, Coxy, Pete Underwood, Elscorcho, Craig Wilson (aka 1iSAMURAi), Neroli and Kimo.

There will be deep dark beats in The Forest space, the gods of house will be worshiped in The Temple, while the ranks of youth can party in The Shrine.

There’s also a renewed focus on female revellers with the special women’s camp and the all-girl recovery cabaret show.

Volunteers are still needed for the event with vacancies in all areas and good shifts offered.
