Trespassing – Adam Lambert

Trespassing – Adam Lambert

Glambert’s back for his second album, and don’t let the lack of a hit single (so far) fool you – there are plenty of corkers on Trespassing. He channels Britney on the ace Cuckoo, offers up sweaty dance-funk on Kickin’ In, and delivers a slice of pure, open-hearted pop on Naked Love. There’s even an all-star collaboration with Sam Sparro and Chic legend Nile Rodgers on the sly Shady.

Best of all, there’s no whitewashing of Lambert’s camp, queer persona here – just check out the stirring ballad Outlaws of Love, with a sentiment any gay listener could relate to: “They say we’ll rot in hell, well, I don’t think we will. They’ve branded us enough, outlaws of love.”
