For one night only Bingay is leaving its Erskineville home and heading to Paddington for a fundraising extravaganza.

Host Mitzi MacIntosh and her singing barrel-dyke, Naomi Palmer, are bringing their kooky queer bingo night to the Paddington Woollahra RSL on Friday 14 May and calling it Big Bingay.

A fundraiser for ACON, Big Bingay is certain to be loads of fun with great prizes up for grabs including a Harbour Bridge climb for two and a dinner for four.

Bingay has been fixture at The Imperial Hotel since 1999 and has raised over $200,000 for ACON in the last three years. This is the first time the event will be held in a different venue.

It’s such a good fundraiser and a great night out, said host Mitzi. So we thought we’d take the old formula that works so well and exploit it in the east.

Mitzi plans to wear a bright, Pucci print A-line dress. The theme I’m going for is -˜60s tacky Australian moll, she revealed.

Special guest singer on the night will be Popstars Live judge Shauna Jensen.
