Kelly for Mardi Gras?
Kelly Rowland seems likely to be appearing as a surprise guest at this year’s Mardi Gras party.
A list of performance dates on the singer’s website shows her booked to play Mardi Gras on March 6.
It is not the firs time a star has leaked their performance. Olivia Newtown-John similarly leaked her performance to the media for the Mardi Gras 30th anniversary party two years ago.
Rowland’s website also has her playing dates in Perth, and at Brisbane’s Big Gay Day.
Her appearance would make sense given New Mardi Gras has already announced DJ David Guetta is playing the party.
Rowland provided the vocals for Guetta’s massive hit When Love Takes Over last year.
Other artists still sitting high on the rumour mill include Whitney Houston, George Michael and Tom Jones, all of whom will be in the country at the time.
The other artists heavily rumoured to be playing the event, Lady GaGa, is booked to play a concert in the UK on March 6.
Whitney cancelled her show on the Sunday night in Perth. The Saturday night concert at ME Stadium is still scheduled on ticketmaster.
Who the fuck is Kelly Rowland, and will anyone care if she walks on stage for yet another homogenous production? There is a reason the troughmen don’t go to these parties any more.

Whitney is performing a sold out show in Perth the night MG party is on. Safe to say she won’t be at the After Party…

Coming to Sydney for George, so will go to the parade and possibly the after party….then home…
yeah she isn’t a motivation for me to go but better than some E grade aussie celeb. Considering the talent in Australia at the time Mardi gras should have done a lot better!

Well by the looks of the SSO poll, which shows more than 40% of people aren’t planning on doing either parade or party, I reckon this leak was intentional!
