Exactly how many members strong is this Welsh popera choir? Their record company doesn’t even seem sure — 14 anonymous suited men adorn the cover of this collection, but on the inner sleeve, their ranks have swelled by another four. Line-up quibbles aside, Men Aloud do have a knack for choosing impossibly camp songs to cover: versions of All By Myself, MacArthur Park and Don’t Rain On My Parade mean Live From Wales is only a remix away from soundtracking a drag show. They even knock out a cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart — complete with Bonnie Tyler cameo!
