They’ve kept the pulsating ’70s disco influences that made their debut such an enjoyably retro listen — listen to the sweeping strings of opener Painted Eyes and you’ll swear it was made 30 years ago — but have added a few early-’90s house touches, most noticeable in first single My House.
Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke continues his transformation into fully-fledged dance diva on album highlight Step Up.
