Kylie Minogue is expected to announce tour dates for Sydney and Melbourne this week.
Minogue’s X 2008 tour played more than 50 dates across Europe to massive critical acclaim.

Promoter Michael Gudinski has been in talks with the pop princess to bring the tour to Australia for several months.

“The reason I hadn’t confirmed dates in Australia is, I really didn’t know what I was getting into,” Minogue said in a statement at the weekend.

“But now I know. I have a show that breathes and changes and is dependent on people’s moods and environment. I can’t wait to bring it home.”

The tour is likely to be limited to a handful of dates in each capital city owing to Minogue’s onoing health concerns following her breast cancer diagnosis.
