The ALSO Foundation’s Bring Back The Love dance party – held at The Market on Saturday – has been hailed a success. ALSO Foundation CEO Crusader Hillis said the party attracted well over 800 party-goers.

“We are really please with the turnout,” Hillis said. “There was the flavour of old parties with the energy of a new crowd, we really had the whole community dancing together. We’re really pleased.”

The event raised $1000 for Equal Love’s marriage equality campaign.

Hillis said he hoped the success of the dance party meant ALSO would run special fundraiser events next year.
The ALSO Foundation will hold its Gay Day at the zoo this Saturday, December 18.
