Awarding diversity
Commercial Rd venue Heaven’s Door is celebrating 18 years showcasing the diversity of Melbourne’s Asian gay community with the Lotus Awards next month.
Starting Sunday, October 9, cash prizes will be awarded for contestants in a range of categories including the traditional Miss Lotus award for best Asian drag or transgender performer. Heats will be held on Sundays and will run for around eight weeks.
