During April, website TagYourCause.com will throw the spotlight on marriage equality in Australia with ‘Equal Love Equal Laws’ luggage tags.

The website’s monthly, limited-edition tags are sold in support of a designated not-for-profit organisation. This month the organisation to benefit from the sale of tags is Australian Marriage Equality (AME), and to highlight the importance of AME’s work Tag Your Cause will donate 100% of all profits from Tag sales.

Founder of TagYourCause, Mathew Beeche, said AME will receive 100% of profits because the organisation represents a movement at the forefront of a great moment in Australia’s social history.

“Tag Your Cause is proud to not only support but also step up the campaign alongside Australian Marriage Equality, an organisation funded only by contributions from supporters, and to be raising awareness while creating another avenue for Australians to visibly show their support,” he said.

“We know it’s not just an issue for the gay community but an issue for Australians everywhere.”

AME spokesperson, Alex Greenwich, said marriage equality is one of the most important social justice issues facing Australia today.

“Australian Marriage Equality is involved in what is fast becoming the biggest gay and lesbian human rights campaign in Australian history with lobbying, advocacy and community education at a national state and local level. We are proud to be associated with businesses that support full legal equality for same-sex couples,” he said.

Australian Marriage Equality luggage tags are now available at www.tagyourcause.com until the end of April. Tags cost $10 including postage, with 100% of all profits going to AME.
