New online dating site
It seems there the digital era of gay dating is still well-and-truly with us as yet another online company offers its services to the queer community.
Dating program, DatingGold, has announced the launch of a new online gay dating site ManList.com. The new site offers the most commonly popular member features including live chat, instant messaging, galleries and email.
Additional features, which the company will hope bring more interactivity the site, will be launched in the coming months.
DatingGold CEO Allan Henning said the company was pleased with the initial look and features of the site.
“It was really important to us that when we launched our gay product, its structure was not just a copy of our other sites,” he said.
“ManList has its own look, additional features and unique feel. We waited to promote this site until we were sure we could do it right.”
ManList is offering the premium membership for a free 30-day trial as part of the launch. These memberships will include access to all the sites features and will not require any credit card information until they choose to upgrade after the trial period.
“The key to a successful dating site is member interaction,” said Gay Project Manager Jeff Rosenberg.
“Most of the other dating sites require you to pay before trying any of the features. Our initial beta test and outreach to members has exceeded our expectations. Already we are seeing return visits, and member interaction grow every day.”

It will end up like most gay sites,Same faces yet again.
Just what we need – another ‘dating’ site (let’s be a tad real about the ‘dating’ part – more so when the actual site states ‘sex partner’ !). And of course its US based. And they eventually want your credit card details at some stage – lets just say that’s about $30 a month – that’s about the same as some ‘other dating sites’ ! And why do there terms and conditions have a date of January 2005 ?? There’s money to be made in the name of ‘love’. Wouldn’t it be easier to have a place where you could do all this in person ? (ok enough of the cyncism :) !)
