A bounty for bookworms
Bookish Melburnians will be spoilt for choice with more than 350 entertaining and information-rich events at the upcoming Melbourne Writers Festival.
English writer, director and performer Simon Callow will be the keynote speaker while popular gay author Benjamin Law will discuss the ‘allure of the Asian continent’.
About 400 local and international guests will be speaking at festival.
It runs 23 August to September 2.
