A queer alternative
Not much of a fan of Kylie, Sneaky and all the other divas at the Mardi Gras party? Head to a riotous queer alternative, Velvet Hammer, at the Oxford Art Factory from 10pm on Mardi Gras Parade night. Catch hardcore Bear bands Gay Paris and Totally Unicorn, DJs Ben Drayton, Annabelle Gaspar and Steve Sonius, plus much more debauched entertainment — all wrangled by the legendary Vanessa Wagner. Tickets through Moshtix.
