Belinda Carlisle’s family singalong
James Duke Mason joined his mother, ’80s pop icon Belinda Carlisle, on stage to belt out an old Go Go’s hit during the band’s American reunion tour.
The budding actor has been making a name for himself as a gay rights activist, recently launching the Trailblazer Campaign – an initiative that encourages gay actors and musicians to come out of the closet (learn more about the campaign here).
It turns out he not only inherited his mother’s good looks but can also hold a tune.
James looks suitably embarrassed after being dragged on stage to sing with his mum but he does a good job on The Whole World Lost Its Head, a hit for The Go Go’s in 1994.
Could this be his first step towards a pop career?
