Beyoncé unleashes second single
Despite Run The World (Girls) rebounding into the ARIA top 15 this week, Beyoncé is already moving on to the second single from her highly anticipated fourth album.
Produced by Symbolyc One and co-written by R’n’B legend Babyface, Best Thing I Never Had returns the diva to familiar territory.
The song is a mid-tempo ballad about the end of a relationship with a killer chorus and lyrics that everyone can identify with.
Think of it as an update of Irreplaceable for 2011 – only instead of “to the left, to the left” people will be singing “it sucks to be you”!
Listen to the second taste of 4 below and let us know if you prefer this to the Major Lazer-sampling madness of Run The World (Girls).
