Charlize won’t marry until we can

Charlize Theron has told CNN’s Piers Morgan that she won’t be marrying until the gay and lesbian community can.

In the interview last Thursday, she told Morgan she believed marriage for all people was a “divine right” and expressed disappointment in the US government for not making same-sex marriage legal on a federal level.

“When government starts to tell us who can love and what is good love … I do have a problem with that,” she said.

Theron ended her nine-year relationship with fellow actor Stuart Townsend in 2010. The couple wore antique commitment rings as a symbol of their relationship.
