Ellen gives Rudd a global boost

Adopted Aussie and US talk show host Ellen Degeneres has given a surprise global boost to the Labor Party after sharing a video from Kevin Rudd’s personal Youtube page.

The video shows Rudd’s response to a question about his support of gay marriage as a practicing Christian from a Brisbane priest on ABC’s QandA program, where he said homosexuality was not abnormal and that the Bible says “slavery was a natural condition”.

Degeneres shared the video link with the caption “The world is changing and I’m so glad I get to see it,”  boosting the videos views beyond 1.2 million at last check.
