Emily Osment – the next Miley?

Emily Osment – the next Miley?

Emily Osment, best known as Lilly Truscott in the Hannah Montana TV series, has unveiled a preview of her new single Lovesick.

This isn’t the first time the 18 year old has dabbled in pop music.

She released a song called Let’s Be Friends in Europe and unleashed her second album in America earlier this year, but neither proved to be a success – in fact, the latter peaked at a rather bleak 170 in the charts!

The budding diva is hoping her new robot-inspired video will help her grab a piece of Miley’s tween pop pie.

From the preview, Emily’s new song sounds catchy enough and the visuals look interesting – particularly her crazy Tron meets Daft Punk dress.

Do you think she has what it takes to make it in the music world or should she just stick to acting?

  3. And she was acting way before she was on hanna montana, she was a seasoned actor where has Miley was a newbie first timer at acting.
Now to find out she has a good voice I think she needs to sign to a more productive music company to help her career.

Emily has a great potential in music because unlike others she is not trying to get a Grammy write away. She enjoying what she is doing and she is doing it the right way.
