Gaga hits the catwalk

Lady Gaga added catwalk model to her burgeoning resume last night when she walked the runway for fashion designer Thierry Mugler at a Paris fashion show.

Despite a room full of supermodels, all eyes were on Gaga as she hit the stage in Mugler-designed hooves, white corseted dress and giant pig tails.

Never one to pass up a good promo op, mama monster used the occasion to debut a new song from Born This Way called Government Hooker.

If you were expecting another Madonna-esque, upbeat gay anthem – think again.

From the brief clip played at the event, Government Hooker sounds like a return to the darker sound and subject matter of Fame Monster.

She sings “I can be cool, I can be anything, I’ll be your everything, just touch me baby” before cooing “put your hands on me, John F. Kennedy”.

Possibly not the catchiest song she’s ever written but if the tracks we’ve heard thus far – Scheiße and Born This Way – are any indication, album number three is going to be a wild ride.

Watch Lady Gaga’s modelling debut and listen to a clip her amusingly titled new song below.
