Hear Wilson in Stereo

Hear Wilson in Stereo

A couple of months ago we previewed the new single from Melbourne singer Peter Wilson – and we can now share the video.

Stereo is a camp pop tune with a catchy chorus that pays homage to the music of ’80s hitmakers Stock Aitken and Waterman.

It was even co-written and produced by PWL engineers Dave Ford and Ian Curnow, who were heavily involved with the production house that brought you Kylie, Bananarama and Rick Astley.

For the understated video, Peter hangs around an abandoned parking lot – flexing his muscles and looking sexy – but it’s definitely effective.

The openly gay singer scored a string of hits in the mid-’90s with songs like Into The Night and I Wanna Dance, but retired to focus on writing tracks for acts like Nicki French and Samantha Fox.

Do you think Peter could have another hit on his hands, more than 15 years since last chart entry?

Check out the video below and let us know.
