Hurts’ dark mood continues
English synthpop duo Hurts have unveiled the video clip for Sunday, the fourth single from their critically acclaimed debut Happiness.
Kylie’s favourite band – she covered Wonderful Life and lent her heavenly vocals to their track Devotion – has a reputation for filming dark, moody videos that don’t make a lot of sense and this is no exception.
Singer Theo Hutchcraft recently explained the duo’s approach to making music videos to Digital Spy, saying “we go to an exotic, beautiful place, think of a theme that no-one else will understand except us, and surround us with women so people won’t ask us what it’s about!”
He wasn’t exaggerating.
Sunday finds the group in Romania, where one of the boys (Theo) cradles his dead girlfriend before getting a bit too friendly with a mirror.
