Katy debuts video for TGIF

Katy Perry has unveiled the much hyped video for the 5th single from her hugely successful Teenage Dream album.

In the eight-minute long Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) clip, the 26-year-old pop star takes on the persona of Kathy Beth Terry – a geeky teenager who has just had the craziest night of her life.

She throws a house party with her best friend (internet sensation Rebecca Black), flirts with boys (including Kevin McHale and Darren Criss from Glee), gets very drunk, vomits in a rollerskate, watches Kenny G plays sax on her roof and eventually passes out in bed.

Unfortunately Kathy is busted the next morning by her parents – played by ’80s icons Debbie Gibson and Corey Feldman, no less.

It’s a lot of fun and confirms Katy’s status as the new queen of music videos after her uplifting Firework extravaganza and big budget ET clip.

All four previous singles from this album have reached number one in America, so there’s a lot riding on the clip.

Do you think Katy has another chart topper on her hands?
