Kylie 3D screening plans revealed

It’s just two weeks until Kylie Minogue bursts on to the big screen in her special 3D concert presentation of the celebrated Aphrodite Les Folies world tour.

The film will be playing for one week at selected Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas in special event screenings, being presented in association with Arts Alliance Media from Thursday August 4-Wednesday, August 10.

There will be daily screenings at 9pm as well as 3.30pm sessions on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Directed by William Baker and Marcus Viner and filmed at London’s O2 Arena, this concert film features all of Kylie’s biggest hits along with tracks from her latest platinum selling album, Aphrodite.

Arts Alliance Media C.E.O. Howard Kiedaisch said he was thrilled to be bringing Kylie to cinemas in 3D.

“The Aphrodite Les Folies shows are visually stunning, and the 3D of the film really does them justice on the big screen. Audiences are going to love seeing Kylie’s sets and costumes up close, as well as hearing the songs in full 5.1 digital surround sound quality,” he said.

Tickets are limited and priced from $25 for adults and $22 for concessions/children. They are on sale online now at eventcinemas.com.au, at box offices, or via Pocket Cinema on iPhone and iPad.
