Madonna to tour Oz in early 2013
Madonna has announced details of her 2012/13 World Tour, which begins on May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Set to be her most extensive tour ever in terms of number of dates, according to its worldwide producers, it will see the Queen of Pop come to Australia for the first time in 20 years.
The tour will play arenas, stadiums and unique outdoor sights, but there’s no word on exact Australian venues or dates at this stage, other than the announcement that Madge will wrap up her world tour here in early 2013.
“We’ll get to these markets where she’s never been, some exciting new places, and get back to Australia after too long a time,”Live Nation Global Touring CEO Arthur Fogel told Billboard.com
Madonna’s first headlining tour was in 1985, and her upcoming run will be her ninth.
