Margaret Cho is returning to Australia as part of the Just For Laughs comedy festival that will premiere at the Sydney Opera House in September.

The outspoken comedienne is part of a star-studded line-up that includes John Cleese, Dylan Moran, Louis C.K. and a number of soon-to-be-announced local acts.

Just For Laughs will run for four days and includes two comedy galas (with multiple comedians) and five solo shows.

“We are delighted to be co-presenting such a significant international comedy festival at Sydney Opera House,” Sydney Opera House CEO Richard Evans said in a statement.

Just for Laughs joins an ever expanding line-up of international festival events at the [Sydney Opera] House that include Vivid LIVE, Graphic, Festival of Dangerous Ideas, Message Sticks and Spring Dance.”
