New Superman snaps

The very handsome Henry Cavill has popped up in full supes garb in paparazzi pics of the caped crusader’s new film adaptation.

The Tudors star cuts a fine figure in the modern-looking costume which says goodbye to the red briefs and yellow belt, replaced by blue briefs and the optional red cape.

Suckerpunch and Watchmen directer Zack Snyder is at the helm of this reboot of the DC Comics hero.

The Warner Bros film, titled Man of Steel, began filming outside of Chicago in early August.

It also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, former CSI star Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor in chief Perry White, and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Superman’s adoptive parents, Martha and Jonathan Kent. Russell Crowe and Julia Ormond play his birth parents.

It’s released in 2013.
