Riri gets a little sleepy
Rihanna dropped the video for the fourth single from her mega-selling Loud album this morning.
California King Bed is a radical change of pace from the saucy club banger S&M – for starters its a ballad about the end of a relationship and the film clip doesn’t contain any chains or riding crops.
In fact, there’s not much happening in the Anthony Mandler-directed snoozefest at all.
Riri rolls around an extremely large bed looking miserable – and that’s about it.
It’s a bit of a throwback to the diva’s soft and pretty Only Girl (In The World) – although vastly less interesting.
Not that it matters much. California King Bed is already well on its way to being another top 10 smash for the Bajan beauty, sitting comfortably in the Australian top 20.
